Classical Highlights from June

While the guitar is ever-present in pop music, it isn’t as often thought of as a classical music instrument. However, this month we found three new releases featuring guitar. Sharon Isbin‘s latest album features a concerto, a song cycle, and more. Sean Shibe performs Bach’s luminous lute suites on guitar; and Duo Tandem introduces the music of Cypriot composer Kemal Belevi.
